Giants: Brandon Jacobs to IR

In a bit of sad news, during a lousy season, the Giants move Brandon Jacobs to the IR today, effectively ending his season and most likely his Giants, and possibly his football, careers.  I've said this before, but he was one of my all time favorite Giants, and I think his physicality set the tone for two Super Bowl wins.  He was a great Giant and will be missed -- in fact, what he used to bring has already been missed as now the Giants are a little soft.   Happy Trails, Brandon!
