This Week on the Blog
This week started out disgracefully as the Knicks, Giants and Rangers were all blown out yesterday , with the Knicks and Rangers turning the trick at home. Changes may be afoot.
Yankees: The Yanks will continue to try to fill holes without creating more holes. They head to the winter meetings today and could be in trade talks on several fronts. They seem to need a 2B, and another starting pitcher, though it's now clear Tanaka will be posted and that's their make or break play, Also, the Boss and Torre might be elected to the HoF.
Giants: They just need to play out their string. I wish they would bench Eli to make sure they don't accidentally win any more games.
Rangers: They need to get physically tougher. There need to be consequences for the cheap shots they are taking. I don't know if that's a trade, some call-ups, or both, but guys like Pyatt and Pouliot are just space holders and it's time to put something tougher and more productive in those spaces.
Knicks: Just when they were starting to look like last year's team, they get blown out from the start by a transitioning Celtics team. Sheesh. They may change coaches. Though, the fact that they haven't yet seems to indicate, they may not. Sheesh.
Let's hope the Yanks don't blow up the farm, the Giants don't get disgusted with themselves and start playing right, the Rangers find some toughness and the Knicks find some pride.
