Beno Urih To Sign with Knicks

This is a good get for the backup PG they've been craving all summer.   Beno is a lefty who can not only pass and play the point, but can actually shoot the ball.   He might fit in nicely with the Knicks, bring it down and fire a three philosophy.   He's 31, so he's also beginning to fit in with the Knicks older player theme.    Kidding aside, he should help and could even be a pleasant surprise.

He's 31, so he does not yet qualify for the "senior citizen" status the Knicks had last year with Rasheed, Kenyon, Camby, Kurt, Prigs, Kidd, et al.

I really like this move, if it comes to fruition. He is a nice change-of-pace guy, being a lefty, smart player, decent shooter, and plays at least average defense.

He also is European, which will make Bargnani feel more at home. I read somewhere that Bargs feels more comfortable with the European teammates than the American ones.
