This Week on the Blog

Could be an eventful week.

Yanks:  Today they welcome back Derek Jeter, later in the week they could get Grandy back.   And Wednesday is the trade deadline, let's hope they stand pat.   On Thursday, August first they can sign Leonardo Molina, the IFA who's 16th birthday they've been waiting for.

Giants:  Training Camp is open.   So we could have updates everyday.  We'll see who's stepping up and who needs to.   Remember: uneventful is good.

Knicks:  They're still riding the cray-cray train.   The latest has them talking to Delonte West for that last roster spot.   They're going about their business like the `70s era Oakland Raiders.   I hope it works out.

Rangers:  It would seem that they have to sign Stepan at some point.   Also, they probably do need to make a trade or two to clear up the the 4th line backlog.

So it looks like a pretty busy week.   The major concern around here is that Randy Levine and ownership will keep making trades, instead of the baseball people.   That could bring about a worst case scenario for the Yanks short and long term.    Literally, they could destroy the team this week.
