Soriano Returns
Homeruns and strikeouts. And Grandy should be back soon, too, This is another deal where the Yanks go the other team to eat a ton of dough, but they did it at the cost of Corey Black, an undersized starter who has hit 100 on the gun. Sure his secondary pitches could use work, but when you throw that hard, you don't really have to learn anymore pitches till you hit the pros. Ron Guidry was an undersized reliever who learned a slider from Sparky Lyle one Spring and went on to be a Yankee great. Anyway, the Yanks should have made them take someone else. They don't have enough plus velocity in the system to throw what they have into trades for old players who can;t lay off pitches away and never take walks. I wonder if Well will return Sori's number.
