Yanks Grab Jagielo at 26
The Yanks took one of the guys a lot of us thought they'd take with their first pick, Eric Jagielo, the lefty hitting 3B from Notre Dame. He crushed it in the Cap Cod League last summer and wood bat success is something the Yanks always look for in when picking college hitters. This is a guy who slots ahead of Dante Bichette Jr. in development and could be ready pretty soon. He seems to have a stadium swing, and shouldn't break the Yankee budget, so expect more signability guys later. We pick again at 32 and 33. Go Yanks!
