Giants Offseason: JPP Has Back Surgery

Damontre Moore may need to see action earlier than we thought, as today the Giants announced that all world DE, Jason Pierre-Paul is having or is just getting out of back surgery.   They project that he will be ready for week 1, but we'll have to see how that goes.   This could be a real blow to an already shaky Giant D that was depending on a bounce back year from JPP.   Of course, they can't move him inside to DT or drop him in coverage (Hello, Perry Fewell) while he's rehabbing, so that might be okay.    Kidding aside, Kiwi will probably be able to pick up some of the slack, and this would be an excellent time for Miles Austin to step up and show he can provide that inside pass rush that the Giants picked him to provide.
