NYR Coach Hunt `13: There Goes Dallas Eakins

While I was focused on the MLB draft, my favorite coaching target for the Rangers was scooped up by Edmonton.  Although the Rangers had received permission to speak with him, I don't think they ever got the chance.   Meanwhile, Tony Granato did become available last night, if the Rangers can get permission to talk to him.   Meanwhile Alain Vigneault seems to be the favorite unless the Pens fire Dan Bylsma, which is said the be a situation the Rangers are keeping an eye on.   They're also apparently speaking permission to talk to Lindy Ruff.  So there's a very good chance we're getting a retread.
