Knicks Win!

Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and had 9 or ten boards in his Knicks debut, but he sort of struggled for the first three quarters before helping to put the game away with 12 fourth quarter points. Chauncey Billups sure looks like he's still got it, though. He scored 21 and had a bunch of assists (8) and smart plays and made all 12 of his free throws. Toney Douglas went off for 23 in his first game under the tutelage of Chauncey Billups. Amar'e fouled out with 19 after being in a bunch of foul trouble through much of the game. The Knicks still look like they could use a C and a back up PG. If they do, they may go on a run this year. Great first night. Go Knicks!

Melo is a bigger version of Bernard King.

Billups was great.

If Salmons only played against the Knicks in his career, he'd be a top 50 player.

King is exactly who he reminds me of.

Billups was also terrific. We need a BIG!

I loved Melo's response in the presser when Berman asked him the Knicks gave up too much.

He was born to be a Knick. Though I heard LeBron for two or three years, I always felt we'd get Carmelo.

I wonder if they'll make a trade or just pick someone up who was bought out.

Whoever it or they are, I hope we can go on a run, now.

I guess any upgrades will be the result of buyouts.

Sadly, I think Anthony Randolph could/should have been the best big man available to them.

I wish D'Antoni would give some of the new acquisitions an extended opportunity.

Bos trying to get Murphy.

I wanted Camby, but they wouldn't back down from their demand for Fields. We need D and rebounding here in the aftermarket. And going forward.

It sounds like Jeffries. Murphy supposedly wants to go to an elite team.
