GCL 1

I was hoping to give you a little roster preview before the season starts eight minutes from now, but milb.com hasn't updated them yet. That's what you get when all the games start at noon everyday, as is the case in the Gulf Coast League. Anyway, without looking at a roster, the GCLYanks should be absolutely LOADED. With stars like Gary Sanchez, Rey Nunez, and, probably strarting Tuesday, Cito Culver, if the pitching holds up they should win another chamionship. As I said, I don't think Cito is playing today due to travel issues, but I'll be back later as soon as there is a roster to tell you about some of the other players you might be interested in longterm. Peace.

Great blog! Is Jackson Valera in the US? He's on the DSL Yankees 1 roster, but hasn't played. Thought he would be on the GCL team, but they already have 4 catchers.

I don't know if he's over yet, since I haven't seen a roster.

Yup and Rosario and Duran have also homered. That's a lot for one game in the GCL.
