Yanks Lose
It seems to me that every time we beat one of AJ Burnett's friends, be it Doc Halladay or Josh Beckett, bad AJ shows up to give a series game back to the other team. Now, obviously he doesn't do this on purpose, but it has happened a few times. Probably just a coincidence. Though I don't believe them. Anyway, AJ was horrible, and the Yanks didn't do anything to make Jamie Moyers' job hard. They did rally to put the tying run on in the bottom of the 9th, and that usually augers well for the next game. Andy goes for the series victory tomorrow. Go Yanks.
In other news, Cito Carver has arrived in Tampa to take his physical and will sign his deal as soon as he graduates on Sunday.

He's our fifth starter. We can live with his ups and downs.
He'll get hot.
Excited to begin following Culver.
No excuse for not covering 1st base... AJ was awful last night.. I was at the Stadium, and boy did he take the crowd out of it early. Nice job though by Logan and Gaudin giving Philly nothing
When is the last time the Yankees signed a 1st round pick so early?
I have no idea. There's been a lot of years where they had no first rounder.
Bulluck says he would like to play for the Giants, should we be interested?
He's coming off a career threatening type injury.
that's the thing that worries me too Phil. If it were for a 1 year vet minimum type thing it maybe worth a look
on a side note. Bosh was on SNY tonight, and complimented the Knicks saying they have a good young core as do the Nets.
They asked him what are your chances of landing with NY, he said "we will see after draft night" I am assuming he wants us to get a big??
T-minus two weeks!
JJ Adande reported Amare is done in Phoenix.
Sherman said he was told that Brackman will be at AA by the AS break.
It's hard to imagine that the Knicks will get anything in the draft that would entice another player.
Obviously, it's all about LeBron for Bosh. I'd be fine with Amare and LeBron as well.
That's not a secret about Brackman.
No one told me...
The Yankees have done far more things right than they have done wrong, but their handling of Joba isn’t one of them.
