Finally...

CC wasn't super dominant tonight, but he did gut out a 7 inning 2 run performance to finally earn his 5th win. Phew. That was getting silly. Cano had three more hits including an RBI. Cervelli had a big hit late to drive in an insurance run for the bullpen. Joba was more lucky than good in a scoreless 8th. Mo was more Mo than anyone else will ever be in a scoreless 9th. Yanks win 4-2. AJ pitches for the sweep tomorrow. The Yanks need to start sweeping series instead of just winning them. We'll have some more on the draft tomorrow or Friday - but it was very solid. Go Yanks!

OT, Alan had an interesting comment in his chat:

Amen, Steve. You are preaching to the choir. Joe Johnson is a much better fit next to Derrick Rose. LeBron in Mike's system would average a triple-double. Average. Put it in the books. He is an exceptional passer and prefers to play the role of a facilitator than be a high-volume shooter and first-option player.

He also doesn't think it's the ballgame if Izzo signs with Cleveland. He thinks it would primarily be about the money.

I think Izzo is going for the money and to run the re-build.

Phil, gut feeling who do the Knicks get? We cannot walk away with nothing or overpay for 2nd level players

I will add my 2 cents.

I don't think there is a person out there that has a clue except the players themselves and even some of them may be undecided.

It's laughable how stupid some mediots' opinions are.
