Ring a Ding Ding

So on opening day at the stadium, the remaining members of the 2009 Yankees got their rings, but a new member of the 2010 Yanks, OBP Jesus, started things off right with his first homer as a second time Yank. It seems like he and Swisher are always on base, and that's because they so often are. Jeter also homered, but the Yanks were a little innefficient with RISP. Andy pitched 6 shutout innings and left with a 5 run lead, before the pen made it interesting. Park gave up a homer in the 8th, but the Yanks then moved to a 2-1 lead, before David Robertson came in in the 9th. It's unclear what was going on with DRob today, but he loaded the bases and gave up a grand slam to former Yankee Bobby Abreu. Mo had to come in to close it up. But a great day at the park. Two of the highlights involved Hideki Matsui getting his ring, and ailing trainer Gene Monahan picking up his. Aside for DRob today, it;s feeling 98ish. Go Yanks!

I just hope Robertson's elbow is OK. If it is, I'm not worried at all.

Po was great today as well.
