Gutsy!

AJ Burnett overcame a first inning where he struggled and gave up 2 runs, to work around a couple of insane calls and 6 more scoreless innings as the Yanks pounded the Jays 7-3 to win the series and the road trip. Joba was sketchy and gave up a run in the 8th. He's still not throwing very hard. Mo pitched the 9th with a 4 run lead to get himself some work. The offense continued to function with homers by Posada and Swisher, doubles by ARod (2), Cano and Granderson and the usual assortments and hits and walks. Granderson and Jeter both stole bases. Tomorrow is an off day and then they get the rings! Go Yanks!

Joba's done. I hope some other guys start stepping up.

Should have traded him while he had value...

Taking two out of three from both the RS and TB on the road is a great sign.

btw, Chapman had a really good mL debut.

Just saw the footage of Chapman. Nothing but a fastball. He'll have to show more than that if he has a future in this league.

Every strikeout was on a fastball, half of them high.
