ACE!

By now you know CC Sabathia pitched 7.2 innings of no hit ball today. It was a great performance, and a lot closer to perfect that it looks in the boxscore. Both of his walks could have very easily gone as K's. CC had easy gas, and players like ARod, Tex and Cano making brilliant plays behind him all day. What a special pitcher and team. Cano had another homer and three more RBI's. Tex finally got some hits. Alex continued to. Jete had an RBI single. Frankie Cervelli in his first game action drove in some runs, and walked like he used to in the minors. Brett Gardner did some damage. And Swish did his thing. Oh, and did I mention that Curtis Granderson got on base 5 times? Just a very nice win all around. Let's do it again tomorrow. Go Yanks!

Gardner has been a pleasant surprise. I wonder if he should be in CF?

Chris Garcia has a torn elbow ligament, per Twitter.

I know, just terrible break for Chris. Poor guy.

Grandy is doing fine in CF.

Yup, they are a better team with Gardner playing LF everyday.

I wonder if Garcia will opt for platelet injection before surgery, like Horne.

Whatever the case may be, they need to make him a reliever when he returns.
