Anthony Davis

The next several players we will look at are OL's. Anthony Davis, T, Rutgers is one of the most perplexing prospects that could be in the Giants' window at 15. The good: physically he is exactly what the Giants want in a tackle, big with long arms and great feet. He would in many ways be a perfect match for William Beatty, giving the Giants a pair of big athletic tackles for the future. What's more, Davis is just 20. Okay, the bad. I hear from people close to the program that he is not a try hard kid, and may be screwing around off the field. All that said, he sure looks good on tape. So while I think there are red flags, if the Giants do take him, I will know they've done the work and will be happy that we've got bookends. The next few we'll look at are probably safer bets.

Although BPA is the way to go, based on need alone, I'd go:

MLB
OT
S (I don't think you can count on Phillips)
DT

But if a dynamic RB like Spiller is available, that would be tough to pass up. It would help Eli a lot.
