0-1

Though the Yanks got off to a nice enough start against Beckett, the pen couldn't hold it last night. Alas. They play again tomorrow it would be nice to win then or Wednesday or both. Go Yanks!

Nice to see sending Joba to the pen has solved all of his problems. Oh wait...

Seriously, what in the world happened to this kid's fastball?

I have no idea. I missed the game.

As did I, but I checked the GameDay. (I was actually more concerned about Joba's velo than the final score, haha.) 92-93 and an occasional 95 or 96. It's pathetic.

Park needs to be DFA'd!

It was never about Joba's role, it was always about whatever happened subsequent to walking off the mound in Texas in 2008. Whether it's physical, or mechanical, or mental, or some combination, doesn't really matter at this point.

On the bright side, his slider was pretty good last night.

They won the WS. They lost one game. I think the problem was that CC was left in too long.

Either way, the pen will be OK.
