AJ's Choice

The latest word is that the Yanks have beaten the Atlanta Braves 5 year offer for AJ Burnett. So, apparently he has a decision to make. He spent the summer telling Johnny Damon, Derek Jeter and others that he wanted to be a Yankee. In fact, the Yankee players have all gone to bat for him when management asked them what they wanted for the team. I guess we'll see what all that means to him over the next several hours.

If AJ accepts the Yankee deal, the Yanks will have 1 spot in the rotation left. Andy who needs only 1 year or Sheets who needs only 2 would make a lot of sense there.
