Home But to Who?

Here's a shot of the new Yankee clubhouse. Spacious. But who exactly will be using it? Late reports have the Yankees beating the Braves offer for AJ Burnett, who told several Yankees that he wished to join them. Also, the Yanks have expressed interest in Nick Punto for a utility position. Punto can hit some, though not for power, and can walk some, which would be unusual for a Yankee UT.

So, to recap, today, the Yanks have had a second meeting with Sabathia, a first meeting with Sheets, and may be preparing to out bid the Braves for AJ Burnett. They reportedly have not scheduled a meeting with the Hendricks brothers who rep Andy Pettitte, but that could change.

It's important that the Yanks don't neglect the batting order. Swisher's a nice addition, but they need another impact bat or two.

Go Cash!
