Yankees Win!

Melky is really coming on. Yanks won pretty easily, scoring early and late but not in the middle. Wang struggled but gave us a quality start. Torre did a GREAT JOB, because you couldn't even tell he was there. Damon had a strong game. Now for the offday and the trades! Go Yanks!

**Giants note*** Just so it does not get lost in the threads Garafolo says we are in serious trade talks but wont give the names or confirm if it's with 92.

Yes on Sirius this morning, heard with my own ears. Reese gets a thumbs up so far.

Rosenthal is reporting Tex to Atl is done something reported here over the weekend.

I am anticipating the Yankee news, and it seems that Yankees will make multiple trades.

Gagne shouldn't have named the Yankees on his not trade list then.

What we're also gonna see is a player or three traded off, starting with Farnsworth.

*** Giants note**** Osi opened his mouth stating he does not want Simeon here. This season is doomed.

I like what I am hearing Phil. Farnsworth is one would Igawa be two? Proctor three?

If we extend Gagne, I'm sure he will be signing a different tune.

Why doesn't Gagne want to come here? Is it a "wants to close thing" that can be dealt with by giving him closer money or does he just not want to pitch in NY?

the incentives, money...what else

Olney says he wont be surprised if Farnsworth winds up in Colorado, says we may have an interest in Clint Barmes.
