Redden in the Ranger Plans?
That's the rumor regular contributor Michael is hearing, and the players the Rangers are dangling are Mara and Montoya. We know they've been working on something big for awhile, could this be it?

They really want to upgrade the D, and feel Redden would be the homerun type player that can do it. Jovo still remains as a fall back option should we not be able to complete this deal.
As I had heard weeks ago Hossa is being shopped with SJ rumored interest. Things should start to pick up once Avery's hearing is done if they do not settle prior.
My guy also maintains what he said a couple weeks back that Peca is ours for 1 year from what he was told.
I've heard that two, but there was just a Canadian article that says he's still free and feels the Rangers would be a good fit.
Interesting. The thought behind Peca is that he provides leadership and is someone the team feels is perfect for guys like Callahan and Dubinsky to learn from/play with.
I happen to think for 1 year he is a good fit as well.
He's fine for one year. Let's see if it happens.
