Yanks Lose
The Yanks lost their third new game in a row tonight as everything Manager Joe Torre tried to do went hideously wrong, including calling a hit and run that turned into a strike `em out, throw `em out, with ARod up with two strikes, one out and Jeter or first, and bringing in Mike Myers to face a lefty. They're halfway to undoing their winning streak and it seems like their manager doesn't have the slightest clue as how to get them going. Oh, and Johnny Damon is crap. Go Yankees!

If Giambi comes back I think Jeter needs to be leading off. I do not want to take Melky out of the lineup. Not sure if he is an ideal #2. I don't want Jeter leading off, but Damon is becoming an automatic out it seems.
Melky will lead off when Giambi comes back.
Good. Melky always seems to provide us with a spark, and is in the middle of rallies. Giambi is going to need to get hot and fast.

Oh cool, let's stick up for the idiot who called the hit and run with one on and one out and brought Myers in for the lefty even though Myers's numbers against lefties this year are crap. Are you gonna try to tell me those were good ideas? Why can't your boy wake this club up? Also, if it is any comfort to your defensiveness about the long time manager, Johnny Damon was far worse than Torre tonight.
lol u kidding before these last 3 games we were 12-3 and no credit was given to joe...yankee fans have to stop panicing after a loss every time
Who's panicking? Yankee fans need to not have to say WTF? three times a night cause their manager's "gut" is broken. Also, this team is streaky and the losing streak is now half as long as the winning streak was. They can't piss away games with dumb decisions if they want to make the playoffs.
Not picking on Joe as much as saying that Damon in the lead off spot is killing us. He did the worst possible thing GIDP, which effectively ended the game.
I think they need to either bench him or DL him, he is obviously hurt and not helping.

Reports citing a Dallas radio station are saying Clippard & Gardner to TX along with 2 other prospects.
Clippard yes but Gardner no as I don't want to lose him especially since Gagne is going to walk at the end of the year.
I don't think that's a done deal.
