Joba to the Pen

Word out of Scranton is that Joba Chamberlain after his stunning debut as a starter has been moved from the rotation to the bullpen with an expected promotion coming in the not too distant future. Yankee fans and Yankee brass better pray that nothing goes wrong. Your rarely see this with presumptive ace type prospects. I pray he stays healthy and is rewarded with a rotation spot next year.

Does this affect talks for Gagne or any other reliever?

I agree with your sentiments on Joba usage. Joe admittedly has no idea what Joba is about, I hope our scouts and Scranton folks give him a quick crash course.

I like that this move does not affect our other pursuits.

Supposedly they just want to get him acclimated to the Yankees. It might also mean we have a trade in place to dump one of our relievers.

I hope Farnsworth is moved. I don't care if he throws 98, it's obvious he will not work out here. He and Igawa can be on the same bus out.
