Rd 8: RHP Zach Greene

Yanks just took a Senior with a crazy K rate. Callis says he's only 89-93 but the ball seems to disappear and he probably has the spin rate the Yankees like.  He also said the Yanks would have him throwing 95 by next year.  He wasn't kidding because they've been doing that with a lot of guys.

AsI have said I like Frazier because I prioritize young dynamic offensive players, I think Stanton and Hicks are going to be significant injury risks for their entire contract, and I think Gardner is burnt toast. But this is freakin dumb. It’s easy for me as a much older guy to see things that a young guy can’t, but somebody needs to wake him the F up;


Hoch: Clint Frazier held court in a raw interview at his locker today. Lots to discuss. He said that he does not regret declining to speak the other night and owes no one an apology. He also said he has struggled to fit in and believes that he has been treated unfairly by the media.

What he doesn’t understand is the reason he can make really big bucks is because the media covers what he does. They don’t care what I do or what I have done, same is true of most of us.
