Yanks Win Game But Lose Judge
Sonny Gray was sharp and won his third straight, but Aaron Judge chipped his right wrist and will miss the next three weeks. Not sure if there will be surgery, but, remember once Bird had his chip removed he was back pretty quickly. We'll have to see. Gray was also hurt on his right thumb on a comebacker in the 5th inning. He was able to finish the 5th but his thumb was throbbing so they took him out. His x-rays were negative. Rings of harmony around Aaron Judge.

No surgery.
What’s Frazier’s migraine return timetable?
Cash will get Moustakas now.
I am not against that if the price is reasonable but they need to play Frazier too. Gardner, for example, is hitting .224 over the last 28 days. They can’t afford to play the pretend game now.
I agree to have Frazier play (if he doesn't get traded by the deadline) but as a DH against LHP. Gardner's defensive can't be overlooked with his plus defense in LF.
Gardner has been streaky his entire career so this is nothing new.
Gardner is one of those players who some fans will want to hold onto in the offseason but whose position the Yankees will be better off upgrading.
I know, there are some blogs where if you criticize him they act like you criticized their mother.
I’m not on them get Granderson bandwagon
Yanks talking to Tor about Martin and Granderson.
Ugh
They’d have to dump salary; they can’t do Martin under the HalCap.
So who would that be? Robertson? I doubt it Walker doesn’t make enough. Nobody’s taking Ellsbury. I don’t see it
I could see Granderson because Cashman doesn’t care about AVG and I think that’s a problem
Sherman says they need a right-handed bat more than a lhb, sobno Granderson.
Jose Bautista would make me barf
Tyler Wade back up.
The good news is that Walker has been hitting lately: “13-for-39 (.333) with seven walks (.426 OBP) in his last 14 games.”
Moustakas got traded to Milwaukee, so we won't see him in the next two games.
He may have made sense here, depending on the price, so I hope that means Frazier is back soon and plays every day.
Unlike Cashman, or at least my sense of what he said, Boone makes it sound like Frazier could take a little longer.
New Week on the Blog is up.
