Florial Out with Hamate Surgery

Future Yankee CF Estevan Florial has been shutdown till August with Hamate Surgery.  This is the procedure that Nick Johnson and Tyler Austin went through.  Tyler was a long time coming back, but I also think they were a long time in discovering the problem.  This cropped up Yesterday for Estevan and they've already done the procedure.  Progress? This probably saves him from being traded in July, though the A's took two more injured players last year for Sonny Gray.  The guys who are sort of School of Florial, are well behind him in levels and won't be playing in America till short seasons start, and in some cases, next year.  He had a 32 game on base streak going when he went down during a game.  Sucks.

Age is on his side, at least.

Greg Bird just hit a monster shot into the Delaware river. He'll be back soon.

Also, turns out Stanton also had the hamate surgery, so Florial will most likely be fine.
