Hicks Hurt, McKinney Up
Hicks just went on the 10 Day, and McKinney has been called up. He's got patience and pop, but is a corner only guy, so if something happens with Gardy, we'll see Judge in CF. Meantime, this is creating the crack, especially if it lingers, for Ellsbury to come back. This is the move that just keeps hurting. Too bad Clint Frazier missed most of ST, though reports are he was fine after batting practice.

Hicks is a part-time player until proven otherwise.
There is a good chance that Aaron Judge will play some CF while the Yankees wait for Jacoby Ellsbury’s return from the DL, Aaron Boone said. -- @BryanHoch

Great time for Wade to get a hit.
Has Didi all of a sudden developed some plate discipline? That’s two walks in back-to-back games.
We can only hope.
Judge in center today.
McKinney down
We hope it’s merely bruised.
Wade!
Speaking of Didi, I hate 1st pitch swinging after a walk.
Surprised he went a 2nd inning with Betances and was before the HR.
Pitch count quite high
And the WP on the steal.
BP mgt a work in progress.
Evidently not a WP because it’s not a pitch.
I didn’t watch, but supposedly Betances doesn’t currently have command or his breaking ball?
He’d better find himself fast, because there are kids in Triple-A deserving of a shot.
All the more reason to take him out after a scoreless inning.
Andujar up, McKinney down.
Wade in the OF mix now.
