Giants Make Robinson Their MIKE

Giants are apparently signing former Washington MLB Keenan Robinson.  Robinson is coming off a bad season where he had shoulder or arm troubles and couldn't tackle.  The year before he looked like an ascendant player and even won NFC Defensive Player of the Week for a 14 tackle game.  He's also had some good games against the Giants in the past.  If he's healthy, and I'm pretty sure ownership wouldn't sign off on a Beason 2 type, then the Giants have their Mike and things could be really fun.   We'll have to see how the deal is structured.  Could be a prove it sort of thing with some bells and whistles on a one year deal.

Two torn pecs and an MCL. Hope the price was reasonable.

MC's are no big deal. And he should re-tear the pecs if they were good repairs. So hopefully that's out of the way.

One year, 3.5. So, no big risk.
