Yanks Win

Tanaka pitched 7 innings of 3 run ball and got his 6th win.   The Betances and Miller show held to form and the Yanks, after an early inning see saw, won 4-3.   Girardi pulled Refsnyder for Jones in the bottom of the 8th, then sent Drew out to play second in the 9th.   This is probably what it's going to be like.  Down on the farm, Flores left his game.  So he's either hurt or traded.

UPDATE: Gary Sanchez has been promoted to AAA.  Romine has hurt his finger, but this was becoming overdue.

Going to be curious what the move is when Beltran is activated tomorrow. Maybe only six relievers?

The manager

It isn't just that he needlessly PH for Refs, it was that bullshit about nothing is promised to him in Friday's news articles.

Seriously? If he really thinks that, why can't he keep it to his disgusting self?

Torre showed Cano endless patience. They showed patience WITH Didi and he has never really hit anywhere for long.

He is moronic slime.

And btw, Ref's defense has looked really good.

Tanaka's command was poor for much of the game. Some of it probably was the layoff.

I don't know if I will see any more A-Rod HR in person, so that was cool.

He's having a great season and could even get to 30 homers again.

Was just about to post about Sanchez's promotion. Like I've said before, lots of talent in AAA.

Girardi is the wrong man to manage a youth movement, unless he changes.

Thinking about it some more, I think he pinch hit for him solely to give his boy Drew some playing time. But by pinch hitting for him, he made it look like it wasn't for defense

I think Drew might be the move for Beltran this weekend.

I can see the PH move. A HR makes it an easier save.

Pinder up, replacing Mitchell. Good. Would rather Mitchell be starting in AAA.

Every time Cano was up last night, I thought let anybody but him beat us

Sanchez is currently 2-for-3 with a HR in his Triple-A debut. Good for him.

Depends on what they're getting back in return. If it's a 3B who can hit, great. Otherwise, pass.

IT's funny how disregarded Gary Sanchez is yet he's improved on defense and he's still a pup in prospect terms.

I agree with this. People gave up WAY too quickly on him. I mean, look at how Mason Williams had turned it around this year before the injury. Keep him unless you get A.) a hitter who B.) isn't in a walk year.

Sanchez will likely be traded and I hope it's for a valuable piece.

Tim Kirkjaun (sp?) from ESPN think the Yankees will land Kimbrel from what I have read on another board.

That would be some bullpen.

Remember also that they change a LOT of development people and practices before this season --- and all of a sudden we're not seeing guys stall out at AA.

Getting Kimbtel is too stupid even for them
