Rangers Beat the Isles

Yet another great game.   And this was the last regular season game the Rangers will ever play at the Nassau Mausoleum.     The Rangers were flat in the first period and gave up a goal when Lee from ND outworked three of them and knocked it in off a skate.  Talbot was fantastic other than that and a scary giveaway late.

In the second period the Rangers third line, lead by Kevin Hayes was all over the place.  And MZA was able to spring Hayes on a change only to watch him tie the game on an amazing spinning move as the Isle were attacking him and he was knocked into the goal post after he scored - no penalty.

It was tied till early in the third, when struggling Rick Nash (only struggling scoring - not in his two way play of PK work) tried a hot pass to MZA in front only to have MZA leap up and watch the pass go in off an Islander skate.

Man, what a game and what a road trip this has been.

Meanwhile, AV is just weird.  Not only did he re-insert Tanner Glass, but in the third period, he put Kreider on the fourth line for no apparent reason!   Weird coach.  Let's beat the Caps!
