Giants Win

Bad as winning was for our pick position, there were some really nice developments in today's game. Obviously, Beckham is a burgeoning superstar, but there kids like Andre Williams and Devon Kennard are also looking like keepers.   Moore had a dumb play, but he was also bringing it.  Hankins was good, and JPP had two sacks.  So the last two drafts -- or whoever is healthy from them -- look pretty good.  Kennard finally gives the Giants a young LB to build the unit around.  He had two more sacks today and now has over his last two games.   So there were some positiven even though we slid down the draft order.

In baseball they often say never trust what you see in meaningless games in September; I think the same holds true for the NFL in December.

Reese has had years to re-build the offensive line, and he has failed, costing at least three years of Eli's prime. It's time for him to go no matter what.

Lawyer I totally agree these games are meaningless. I,'m tired of all the blowhards like Ralph Schwartz and yes I love patty bit they all wax poetic about TC and Reese. Clean sweep is needed. Hope Mara is not foolish

I have never been Coughlin's biggest fan but no coach could win with this talent, so it's more on Reese in my opinion

Lawyer while I agree Reese is the bigger issue, longer term we need our coach of the future. The window is now to make Thant change. TC is not blameless our record since the Super Bowl is awful.. his stu born ews with coordinators amongst other things are some of his biggest issues.

Oh, I think he should go and I would say that if he was 10 years younger.

Here's my prediction though: Coughlin stays, Reese stays, the say McAdoo is the heir apparent, and Fewell goes.

Lawyer, I get the same sick feeling you do.. If this is the case they better be super aggressive in FA. I'm talking Suh type acquistions.

I think they have to draft better. Nothing else really matters, imo. Maybe they get rid of Ross too?

No question the have to draft better. Frankly the whole scouting dept needs a revamping. I suggested a Suh type name, as he would solve many problems, on the defensive side. I know it's not the Giants way, but their ways have not worked so it's time for a differing approach. Considering we will likely have a top 10 pick, we really need to not blow it this year.
