Yanks Lose in 12
Two problems, the Yankees didn't grind and didn't get David Price to 100 or more pitches till the 8th. And secondly, they only scored three runs, which was also all they gave up till the 12th. Thirdly, instead of having some of the young arms they've been drafting and developing at the back end of the pen they have crap. And crap gave up a run in the 12th that the Yanks couldn't match. I assume there will be more pitching turnover tomorrow as Girardi went through 53 of them tonight. Mismanaged, misallocated and missing an offense. And Braniac also lifted Beltran for guest runner Ichiro who didn't end up scoring but ended up having to bat instead of Beltran. JFC.

It turned out not to matter, but how does Martinez steal 2B on a LHP, even Rich Hill?
Hill and Daley pretty much guaranteed defeat.
I see the troubled types have brought their troubles to RAB.
They must be pretty young. You get to middle age and you realize the energy you have needs to be conserved.
I'm not into internet quarreling or trying to educate other poster places. I mentioned Voros McCracken today on Twitter to some guy who didn't understand how Webb could still be good after giving up a bunch of hits in his small sample of AA (and K'ing over 50 in just over 30 ip) -- he thought he was another pitcher!
This isn't quarreling, it is actual insanity.
I didn't actually see it because it was deleted, but I know what went on at LoHud and the posts that were left at RAB described the same thing: outing people's relatives and such.
What you describe is kind of funny. This is really ugly stuff. Somehow I avoided it back when I posted on LoHud, and no one knows who I am any place else.
Anyway, good news: C Gary Sanchez: 2-3, 1 R, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 1 E (throwing) — 14-for-42 (.333) in his last ten games
A lot of or best hitting prospects homered and or showed power today.
Lawyer:
My question is how does Martinez steal against anyone, not necessarily a LHP. That was a pretty bad for debut for Hill.
Phil;
Personally, I didn't think Giradi did a bad job with the pen at all - except for leaving Kuroda in past the 6st. He is not a 7 inning pitcher anymore, and after giving up that HR in the 6st, he needed to be on a batter-to-batter lease. Should have been pulled when the 1st guy got on in the 7th.

Eppler passed over yet again. Damn. How is such incredible talent continually overlooked!!!!!!!!!
DBJ promoted to Trenton.
Eppler will get the GM job somewhere, and I would bet it will be soon. It would be interesting if the Mets let Sandy go, and ask the Yankees permission to interview him.
Wonder what the Yankees would say/do?
RAB sees Eppler getting promoted to Yankees GM with Cashman getting a promotion as well.
Promoting Cashman is nauseating.
As for Eppler, I believe he's interviewed for three jobs and hasn't gotten any of them
