Ian Clarkin Promoted to Tampa

In more nice Yankee pitching news, Ian Clarkin has been promoted to High A Tampa.   This is a great promotion for a 19 year old pitcher.   Ian't been pretty dominant in Charleston, though his last appearance he through 5 or 6 shutout innings, but gave up some hits and walks with only 1 K.  Is he getting crafty on us?:)  Go Ian!

Do you have the sense that the Yanks are developing an attitude of seeing how far their high ceiling prospects can go? It certainly would be encouraging if Clarkin could start next year at AA.

If he does well at Tampa and then instructs, he might very well start at AA next year.
