Dante Bichette Jr. To AA
In one of the seasons great stories on the farm, Dante Bichette Jr, has now been promoted to AA. Getting an in season promo is a tribute to his effort and determination after having those two weird years at Charleston. Now he's back on track. This is great for the organization. For him, he's got to remember to grind out his ab's and take his walks. When his is doing that he's an excellent hitter. When he starts "rushing" instead of being patient, he's not nearly as effect, and no one is. Rushing is bad, especially in baseball. He has the walk gene and has to use it.
I can't remember if Trenton suppresses all offense, or just allows homers, and nothing else. The parks have hurt him a bit.

Good news. Again this organization is at a crossroads, hopefully will take the road less traveled, at least by them.
With both Cave and Judge also making moves, I'm wishing more than ever that the Yankees weren't on the hook for six more years of Ellsbury at his cost.
It wouldn't be crazy to trade Gardner if they could sell really, really high.
Gardner just went through wavers so they can trade him now if they fall out of it.
waivers that is.
I actually meant over the offseason.
It could save money and balance out the roster.
Francesa probably thought they should have done it:
Via Bill Madden: The Phillies wanted top outfield prospect Aaron Judge in exchange for Marlon Byrd at the trade deadline. The report comes after Phillies GM Ruben Amaro Jr. told Matt Gelb his deadline inactivity was due to other teams not being aggressive enough. Other reports indicate clubs did not believe Philadelphia had sincere interest in moving their players given their unwillingness to negotiate.
So an unknown team has claimed Hammels off waivers and both Prado and Gardner have cleared waivers... Yikes?
Bichette Jr. to AA means that he plays 3B every day, and so does Jaieglo in A= ball. No more DHing these 2. Nice deal.
Trenton suppresses HR production, and is a pitcher's park. Maybe the least offensive friendly park in the Yankees system.
