Clarkin Pitches 5IP of 1 Run Ball in High A Debut

Ian Clarkin just pitched 5 innings in his AA debut.  He didn't give up a run until the 5th, and got two double plays to get out of trouble along the way.  He K'd 4.  He was hurt a bit by the bad contact he was getting as a couple of the pop-ups fell in in no man's land.   Overall a nice debut by the kid.  The Radio Guy thought he topped out at 92, but I don't know if he was checking every pitch.  Also, Ian got a bunch of swings and misses on the curve as well as some called strikes with it.   Also got a K with his change up.   Nice stuff.
