Yanks: Redfsnyder Hits a Walk Off 3 Run Bomb

If Rob Refsnyder were knocking any harder on the Yankees' door it would be obliterated.   He also made a nifty play on D in this evening AAA barn burner.   I was reading the runs differential piece that's link on the right of this page.   They posit that in order to increase their playoff chance from under 16% the Yanks needed a 2B,  a 3B, a Starter and a Reliever.    Well, not only was Refsnyder phenomenal tonight, so was Danny Burawa, the flame thrower was in for 2 innings and struck out 6 while walking 1.  So there are the 2B and RP.   Maybe Zealous can be the 3B and Pineda can be the other starter?   What say you?

Btw, it sort of seems like the Cubs got a little fleeced on that 3 for 2 deal they made with the A's.

That is why Roberts' big day wasn't really a good thing.

I see Ramirez walked three and gave up a run. Sad that the Yankees don't realize how they've hurt his confidence, especially since he has the upside of a late-inning reliever. I hope he doesn't turn into the next Mark Melancon (someone on whom they gave up too quickly).

Is that a hunch or something you heard? I hope it's the latter.
