If you are allowed to cut someone while serving a drug suspension, I hope the Yankees do so with "Ace". Give his AAA spot to someone else - anyone else.
Yet the only person Cashman personally trashes for drugs is A-Rod, and the guy has been responsible for a significant portion of anything good on is resume.
Pot, really? He sucks, but who cares about pot for an adult?

Aceves drug of abuse was pot. Interesting spliit: On 40-man there’s no suspension. But he had been removed from 40 man.
