NB About IFA's

So the Yanks are adding a lot of high upside kids this time, but remember, they are only 16 and a lot can happen between now and the Bronx.     For example,  Mariano Rivera  was originally an afterthought among Yankee prospects, back when his cousin Ruben Rivera was being compared to Mickey Mantle over in Baseball America.   Of course, Mo went on to baseball immortality and Ruben went off to baseball infamy.   So it's just a very inexact science of projection with 16 year olds.   Still, the Yanks have gotten at least one baseball immortal out of the process, so they should go as hard as they can in it every year.   And this year they're finally doing it and maybe the science part of it has gotten a little better than it was in the days of the young Riveras.
