Rangers Today

The Rangers, today, lost 3 of their four key free agents, with Pouliot going to Edmonton, and Stralman and Boyle joining Cally in Tampa.   They were able to re-sign Dom Moore, which will add continue to the 4th line over the next 2 years, at least.   They also added 38 year old offensive defenseman Dan Boyle to play (at least at the start) second pair minutes and really help with the power play.   They picked up their yearly thug by signing Tanner Glass, who had thugged for AV before. And they also signed some organizational depth at D, and F and with goalie Cedrick Dejardins.    And now they have room left over for their RFA's.  In all a weird day, but the club doesn't feel weaker, and may be stronger on the PP.

It was also Day 2 of their annual prospect camp,  today the kids were taught how to properly workout and eat, and also, scrimmaged some more.   So far, they haven't signed any of the tryout kids, but a couple of them, including the goalie from Union, have looked interesting.

I'm a little surprised they haven't made a trade.
