Yanks: The Kid Stays in the Picture
Joe Girardi has announced that off of last night's impressive performance, Shane Greene will stay in the rotation and start Saturday. Chase Whitley is going to the pen. Ah, yes, the Joba/Hughes plan. That's always been a winner.
The Yanks should be making a roster move to send down Billings at some point today, but none has been announced or tweeted about. Maybe Girardi needs his 13th pitcher.
Been thinking about a thing on Gardner being the best player on the team this year, and another about the screwed up Yankee ecology. Now I'll probably combine them in the next day or two into one piece about how signing veterans really screws the farm.

Cone mentioned during it the cablecast. Girardi had Wheeler sacrifice with no outs, runners on 1B and 2B. He said he hates that because as a pitcher, it's like thank you, one pitch, one out after struggling. Bauer was never in trouble after that.
What a cf this management team is.
Not a fan of Girardi's at all.
Refsnyder was going to play RF for SWB tonight but it was rained out.

Thanks, those had been listed behind the SCOUT pay wall for a few days. Moreno's supposed to be good.
