Yanks: Clarkin Returns

The Yankees most exciting LHP prospect returns to action tonight for the RiverDogs.   This is a really pleasant surprise because minor injuries like twisted ankles seem to sometimes last months for Yankee minor leaguers.   But he's back and it's going to be a whole new rotation with Brady Lail and Caleb Smith heading up to Tampa.   Actually, Gabe Encinas will be starting the other game of the Yanks double header today.   He was out much longer and it showed in his tough first start back.   But these guys are both capable of electrifying the rotation and having great success till they hit their respective innings limits.   Omar Luis may be the third starter now, and that cat really needs to get it together.

This is a big reason why the Yankees have been in decline and are mired in mediocrity despite a monster payroll and I can't even blame Chad Jennings.

The idea of trading a top prospect or a young player is mentioned 4 times, and implied several other times.

Serenity now.
