Rangers Sign Matthew Lombardi

The Rangers have signed veteran C Matthew Lombardi to a 2 year contract.    He's been an inconsistent scorer, who has also been plagued by concussions.    We'll see what he has left and if he can compete for the third line job.   Deals must not be running too smoothly with the RFA's if they're bringing in Lombardi.   I thought they'd trade for more of a name C.  Not that I want them to, but it just seems like the sort of thing they would do in their endless attempts to get Nash going and compete for a cup, which they probably feel close to.  If they could only get Nash going.   Well, Lombardi's not that guy.
