Rangers Pre-Draft Stuff pt 1

Because of a few ill-conceived trades, the Rangers find themselves short of draft picks, again this year.   Of course, last year they were also short of picks and it seems to be working out!     This year,  thus far, they have a 2, 3, 4, someone else's 5, and someone else's 6.   Even though they have a 2 this year, they'll be hard pressed to match last year's 3 3rd round picks, where they got Tambellini, Duclair and Buchnevich.   That was huge, and they all had very interesting and at times, impressive seasons.  Tambellini jump his college team and became a point a game guy in the WHL.   Duclair dominant the Q, and Buch, played with men, but impressed and nearly caused an international incident playing against Team USA in the World Juniors.   They also picked up good goalie and an interesting D prospect.  Really impressive give their death of picks, and I think Duclair is already signed.

We'll see if they can get anywhere close to that kind of haul again this year, it will be tough, and I'd still like them to get more picks.  Sell some negotiating rights?   Make a trade?
