Giants Re-Sign Mike Patterson

Jerry Reese continued his running re-build today by re-inking DT Mike Patterson to a new deal.  That means they have scotch guarded the DT rotation as well as the defensive backfield.  This really both protects them going into the draft, and ideally allows them to go BPA, but I think they will end up doing that within certain position groups, this year.   They really, really need a big draft, and picking in the top half of the draft should help them.  But they'll need health luck, and to stop defaulting to taking major college/conference stiffs in the late rounds.
