Talbot Shuts Out Oilers

Cam Talbot recorded the third shutout of his rookie season as the Rangers scored a 5-0 victory over the oilers tonight.    Nash had two goals, both assisted by Stepan and MZA also had two goals, one of which was assisted by Stepan.   MZA also assisted on a Brassard goal.   One of both Nash and MZA's goals were shorties.   Just a great bounce back effort coming off of the disaster in Calgary.   Stepan now has 37 assists and MZA has 36.  You have to wonder how many they might have had with normal off seasons and no injuries.  Nash seems to really be stepping back up, hopefully it carries through the post season.     St. Louis is still searching.   It could have been an even bigger blow out but for some weird bounces and reffing in the first period.
