Solarte Makes the Yanks

The unheralded and largely unknown Yangervis Solarte has made the Yankee roster out of camp.   That means the perennially disappointing Eduardo Nunez is going to camp.   I like that they this represents a meritocracy rather than rendering camp competition null and void, because Solarte had the the much better Spring.   He and Dean Anna both made the team to star the year, and that's fair.   Betances and Nuno also made it in the pen.  I think have Phelps, Warren and Nuno who are all starters, in the pen to start the season, could become problematical.

They need to find a spot of the 40 man roster for Solarte, before the actual games begin.   They still haven't hit on any trades, but maybe they will by Monday.
