This Week on the Blog

This should be a fun week on the blog.

Yankees:  The Yanks will open their season Tuesday in Houston.  They've looked good on the mound, but the infield is still sketchy.  We'll see if they can get off the a good start.   They still have to make a move on the 40 man roster for Solarte.  And I'm sure they'd still like to trade Ichiro.

Rangers:  The Rangers still look like they're making the playoffs.  Meanwhile, they could also make another signing or two from this seasons undrafteds, a few more of whom will become available as their college teams are eliminated.

Giants: At some point, the Giants will probably make a few more signings to bandage some spots and allow them their BPA preference during the draft.  Maybe some of the will happen this week.

Knicks:  As unlikely as it should be the Knicks are still in the playoff hunt.  But they really won't get interesting again until Phil Jackson starts making some moves.  In the meantime, they could actually stumble into the post season.

So it should be a fun week here, and I hope it's also a fun one for all of you.
