Rangers Romp in Stadium Series Debut

Wow, what a crazy game.    Hank looked terrible early and was quickly behind 1-0, then 2-1.  Fortunately, the 4th line showed up early and got big goals from D. Moore, the Brian Boyle to keep the Rangers in the game.  In the middle innings, that is the second period, Hank settled down and the Rangers went to work.  From 3-2, they scored 5 straight goals to banish Brodeur and go on to win 7-3.  The final Ranger goal came on a penalty shot by Derek Stepan.   All 4 Ranger lines score.  MZA had two, one of which came on a gorgeous pass from Brassard.  Stepan assisted Nash with another great pass.    Hagelin was credited with a goal on a wrist shot, but it may get switched to Richards who was providing an effective screen.   It started snowing in the second period, when the Rangers were going wild.   Looked like a great day in the Bronx.  The Knicks are now my only team that hasn't played in Yankee Stadium, to my knowledge anyway.   They might have played there in an exhibition in the early days of the NBA.  I think the Globetrotters did.    Next game they are back at the Stadium to take on the Islanders.   Stick tap to all of the intrepid fans from both teams who made it out there.  Let's go, Rangers!
