Yankees Make More Money

The day after signing Tanaka to his 7 year 155M deal, the Yanks got back to doing what they do best. Today they completely the sale of everything but 20% of the YES network to Fox, and also traded David Huff, the guy they DFA'd to make room for Tanaka, to the San Francisco Giants for CASH.   Not sure what the Huff deal is, but the Fox deal should allow the Yanks to start collecting HUGE BROADCAST fees like they used to from MSG.   They still own 20% of it, still less we be a matter of moving money from one pocket to another, with more new money coming into the system from FOX.   Thus is till always make sense for them to make big deals an put great players on the deal, to increase the value of their TV rights.
