Rangers Win

The Rangers just registered their first win under Alain Vigneault.     It was a very spirited game and amazing Brad Richards was a huge figure in it.   First, he scored the Rangers first goal on an impossible angle shot.  Then, he scored the Rangers second goal when a pass he tried to slide across to Nash was knocked in by a King defender.   Then he and Girardi were involved in a couple of turnovers in the d zone that lead to the Kings only goal of the night.  Otherwise, Hank was outstanding.  And it's hard to believe Rick Nash didn't score.   He had two assists.  McDonagh scored the Rangers third goal, and a short handed slow motion bank shot that was really just a clearing play.   It ricocheted off Quick's blocker and went in.   3-1 Rangers.  Big win.  #LGR!

I thought Nash had one there near the end of the 1st period, which would have made it 2-0 after 1. Oh well, them's the breaks.

Richards played fairly well, but his turnover cost the Rangers a goal. Also, he does not seem to go aggressively into the corners much - sort of like he is playing with a "center's" mentality, even though he is on the wing.
